Your mission

• Your responsibilities will include the coordination of open-space battery storage projects, starting with the identification of suitable sites through to reaching construction maturity.
• You will support our clients (e.g. investors) in their communication with local authorities and other project stakeholders.
• You will work closely with planning authorities, municipalities, legal advisors and landowners.
• You create and maintain standard documents as concept papers for our clients' planning applications.
• You will prepare feasibility studies (CAPEX, OPEX, ROI etc.) and work with the commercial project managers on profitability calculations.
• You are responsible for compliance with all relevant national regulations and carry out acquisition measures to secure the required areas.
• You take part in EEG tenders and their negotiations.
• Together with the commercial project managers, you will take care of preliminary and long-term financing.
• You prepare and coordinate meetings and events.
• You will coordinate contracts with the Legal team and conduct the necessary correspondence.
• You coordinate the tasks of the project development team and take on interface management with the other specialist teams.

Your profile

• You have a degree in engineering (e.g. industrial engineering, geography, urban and regional planning, landscape planning, renewable energies or a comparable qualification).
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a project developer in the open space sector (e.g. photovoltaics) in Germany.
• You have profound knowledge of the German RES (Renewable Energy Solutions) market and the EEG (Renewable Energy Sources Act).
• You are proficient in MS-Office and have basic user knowledge in e.g. PVSys, ArcGis and have sound BIM knowledge.
• You are characterized by proactive work as well as a goal-oriented and solution-oriented approach.
• Your way of working is structured and has a very solution-oriented approach.
• You are a strong team player and communicator and have extensive experience in working with interdisciplinary and international teams.
• You have a high willingness to travel internationally
• Fluency in German and English is a MUST.
