brown-iposs is an IT and consulting partner for the mobile communications industry. Our solutions are used to analyse and optimise (mobile) radio networks. We support our customers in industry and telecommunications through consulting and training. At our attractive office location “in the park” in the heart of Bonn-Beuel, opposite the Pantheon, you can expect a wide range of tasks involving the development and optimisation of system architectures for solutions in telecommunications networks.

Your tasks

Develop the system architecture for our RAN optimization solutions, from data architecture and microservices to integration with 4G/5G mobile networks.
Translate business requirements into robust target architectures for backend, data, and integration components, ensuring scalability and performance.
Create architecture and migration concepts and lead implementation projects based on modern DevOps, operations, and automation processes.
Ensure interoperability between hardware, software, and cloud components while considering data security and GDPR compliance.

Your profile

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field, combined with professional experience as a System Architect.
Strong hands-on experience in object-oriented software development, ideally using Java, Spring Boot, and modular microservice architectures, as well as a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data pipelines.
Experience with modern DevOps and operational environments: CI/CD using GitLab, container orchestration with Kubernetes, automated testing, monitoring, and Linux-based system environments including Bash and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Knowledge of operating concepts for telecommunications networks and ITIL-based service management.
A pragmatic and structured approach, strong abstraction skills, team spirit, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
