For our office in Berlin we are looking for a

Senior Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation - Specializing in Airport Planning & Master Planning

The position is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis (at least 32 hours per week), starting in November 2026.

Your tasks:

As a member of our Aerodrome Planning department, you will be responsible for managing national and international projects independently. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and design of airside infrastructure for airports, heliports, drone ports and vertiports, including the production of CAD-based drawings and plans
Project management and coordination of complex master-planning projects for aerodromes, heliports, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and drone operations
Preparation of development plans, airport master plans and feasibility studies, taking into account capacity analyses and traffic forecasts
Conducting compliance checks on the infrastructural and operational conditions at aerodromes in relation to national and international regulations (e.g. ICAO and EASA)
Preparation of technical reports and statements on various topics (e.g. infrastructure planning and compliance, safety, and aerodrome operations)
Project management, project implementation and client communication
Supporting our sales team with client acquisition, assisting with the preparation of quotations and handling tenders relating to the above-mentioned topics
Contributing specialist expertise to our training department in the development of new training concepts and materials, as well as delivering training courses in the above-mentioned subject areas

Your profile

A degree in aeronautics, civil engineering or transport (or equivalent)
At least five years of relevant professional experience in aerodrome master planning, aerodrome planning or operations
Business-level language skills and excellent presentation skills in German and/or English (more than half of our clients are from non-German-speaking countries) - additional language skills are an advantage
An independent and structured approach to work with a strong customer focus, as well as the ability to set priorities effectively and maintain an overview
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to successfully tackle complex tasks and projects
A strong team-oriented approach and a high degree of flexibility, including a willingness to travel
Experience in using CAD software (e.g. MicroStation or AutoCAD)
