As a Supplier Quality Manager (d/f/m) in Hamburg, you will work across the cabin perimeter and help safeguard reliable supplier performance throughout the aerospace supply chain. The role combines Supply Chain, Logistics, supplier quality, risk management and continuous improvement activities in an international operating environment.

Your tasks:

Monitor supplier delivery, quality and cost performance using relevant key performance indicators, and initiate immediate containment actions where required to protect industrial operations.
Coordinate and follow up on recovery plans with suppliers when delivery reliability or product quality declines.
Support the industrial qualification of products and suppliers in line with supplier requirements and applicable airworthiness, safety and industrial standards.
Conduct industrial supplier audits and assessments, documenting findings and coordinating appropriate improvement measures.
Develop the capacity and capabilities of cabin suppliers through continuous-improvement approaches, including APQP, Lean methods and joint supplier-development activities.
Monitor new product introductions and transfers of work across the Lieferkette to maintain end-to-end consistency and on-time, on-quality performance.
Identify and manage industrial risks in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, applying structured Risikomanagement and Total Quality Management principles.
Manage interfaces with program teams, final assembly operations and other internal stakeholders, while communicating effectively with contacts at different levels of supplier organizations.

Voraussetzungen

Completed studies or comparable qualifications in aerospace, engineering, industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related technical or commercial discipline.
Practical experience in Lieferantenmanagement, Supply Chain Quality, Qualitätsmanagement or Qualitätssicherung; experience in the Luft- und Raumfahrt environment is advantageous.
Sound understanding of quality-management methods and tools such as APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, 8D/9S, VSM or comparable problem-solving approaches.
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, supplier performance management, industrial qualification, audits and continuous-improvement activities.
Experience with Risikomanagement and TQM, meaning Total Quality Management, including the structured analysis of causes, risks and improvement measures.
Confident use of Windows-based working environments and SAP/R3; familiarity with Google Workspace is also expected.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand functional processes, dependencies and operational interrelationships.
Independent, structured and results-oriented approach, combined with reliable deadline and workflow coordination.
Very good German and business-fluent English skills; French is an advantage.
Willingness to travel worldwide up to approximately once per month is required.
