Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) - Sales Support - Germany

The DPB Rail Infra Service DE GmbH is a modern railway company specializing in rail freight transport. To strengthen our team, we are looking for someone to join us immediately. Locations in Essen or Cologne a dedicated Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d), who supports our sales.

Activities

You will look after our existing and new customers and be the first point of contact for their concerns.
You create offers, assist with calculations, and prepare contract documents.
You coordinate communication between customers, sales, and operational departments.
You process customer inquiries and ensure professional and service-oriented support.
You will create sales reports and market analyses and support the identification of new business opportunities.
You will be involved in commercial processes such as invoice verification, invoicing, and receivables management.
You will support our sales team with organizational and administrative tasks and contribute your own ideas for process optimization.

Requirements

Successfully completed commercial training - ideally in the field of logistics, freight forwarding or transport.
Ideally, initial professional experience in sales administration, customer service, or in the transport, logistics, or railway industry.
Strong customer and service orientation as well as a structured and independent work style.
Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and enjoyment of working with different contacts.
Interest in logistical processes and economic relationships
Excellent German skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level)
Confident handling of MS Office
Class B driving licence.

An attractive compensation package with a gross annual salary between €45.000 and €65.000 (13 monthly salaries), depending on qualifications and professional experience. A higher salary is of course possible with corresponding experience and qualifications.
