As a Supply Chain Operations Manager (m/w/d), you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination between the back offices of the non-European Final Assembly Lines (FALs) and internal Airbus departments, logistics service providers, and front offices located in Tianjin, China and the USA. This position demands a proactive approach in optimizing, harmonizing, and stabilizing supply chain and material flow processes to ensure cost reduction and preparedness for production scaling.

Your tasks:

Coordinate the supply chain interface between non-European FALs and internal departments in both China and the USA.
Develop and improve material flow processes targeting stabilization for production ramp-ups.
Identify, conceptualize, and implement measures to optimize logistics processes to reduce costs.
Monitor return processes for components and tools while ensuring smooth procurement and delivery operations.
Analyze and manage master data such as origin, pricing, material attributes, and tariff classifications.
Participate in disruption management while supporting operational and strategic procurement activities.
Collaborate across multiple levels of stakeholders and international teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Be prepared to accommodate shift work and annual international travel.

Voraussetzungen

Your qualifications:

Hold a technical, supply chain, logistics, or business studies degree, at least at the Master's level.
Possess 2 years of experience in material procurement, supplier management, or operational and strategic procurement.
Show advanced knowledge of SAP R/3 and Google Workspace tools.
Demonstrate basic process management understanding and capabilities.
Be fluent in both German and English, with negotiation-level proficiency.
Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Show ability to quickly analyze and adapt to technical contexts and operational workflows.
Be open to shift work and worldwide travel once a year.
