CF A Internal Control (IC) is
the central governance department for the internal control system at Siemens.
We create impact through the definition and continuous improvement of a
state-of-the-art internal control methodology and the support of our global
internal control community in applying it. In close collaboration with
corporate governance owners, we maintain a central repository of globally
harmonized control requirements (the ‘Policy and Control Masterbook’) as well
as our ‘Risk and Internal Control (RIC) Manual’ as the foundation for the
internal control process.

ensuring robust Internal Controls across the enterprise, especially over
Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Sustainability Reporting (ICSR). We are at the
forefront of leveraging innovative technologies - including Generative

Siemens' strategic growth levers.

What You'll Do:
- Foster GenAI-driven innovation in InternalControls: Proactively identify, ideate, prototype andhelp implement GenAI use cases in Internal Controls together withexperienced colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to IC methodology development: Support the team infurther developing Siemens’ Internal Control methodology, especiallyfor IT controls of systems relevant for financialreporting (e.g., ITGC/ITAC) and sustainability reporting.
- Maintain the IC Framework documentation: Update and improve selectedsections of the RIC Manual and its supporting materials based onmethodological updates, lessons learned, and evolving requirements.
- Enable the global IC community: Answer methodologyquestions, prepare content for the community, and independently plan anddeliver workshops - growing into a trusted contact for IT Controlstopics over time.
- Create training & guidance materials: Develop high-qualitytraining decks, guidance, FAQs, and communications, and regularly deliver trainingwith team members (including leading selected modules with increasingownership).
- Support external auditor alignment: Prepare materialsand analyses for discussions with the external auditor and participate inselected alignments alongside senior colleagues.
- Drive monitoring and insights: Identify patternsand recurring issues in IT controls across the Group; perform structuredanalyses of deficiencies and reporting, leveraging data analytics whereapplicable, and proposing focused improvement actions.
- Broaden your CF A experience: Take part incross-functional initiatives, innovation topics, or selected assignments(e.g., as guest auditor) to build your assurance skillset and internalnetwork.
Your Profile for "Making
the Future Possible":
- Strong academic foundation: Degree in businessadministration, information systems, finance, or related field; master’sdegree preferred.
- Relevant experience: Several years ofprofessional experience in Internal Control, Finance, Audit, or a relatedarea - ideally with exposure to ICFR and/or IT controls.
- Solid understanding of IT controls fundamentals: Familiarity withconcepts such as ITGCs and ITACs and how enterprise systems (e.g., SAPERP) fit into an ICFR control environment; you don’t need to be the “finalauthority” yet, but you can discuss the basics confidently and are eagerto deepen your expertise.
- Interest in innovation & GenAI: Strong curiosity (andideally first hands-on exposure) regarding Generative AI and its use inbusiness processes. You enjoy testing new approaches and translating ideasinto practical improvements.
- Curiosity for adjacent technologies: Interest in topicslike RPA, low-code tools, and AI/ML - plus the willingness to learn howthese can impact ICFR/ICSR and controls design.
- Growth mindset: You enjoy learning,take ownership of your tasks, and can work in evolving environments withchanging priorities.
- International collaboration: Experience workingwith international stakeholders is a plus.
- Strong communication skills: Very good Germanand English (written and spoken), with the ability to structureinformation clearly for different audiences.
- Digital proficiency: Very good MS Officeskills; comfortable adopting new tools and ways of working.
