Your future tasks:
- Lead and manage offshore site operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all planned and unplanned maintenance and operational activities.
- Oversee and coordinate offshore contractors and service providers, ensuring full compliance with contractual, safety, quality, and performance requirements, and taking corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure robust HSE leadership on site, driving consistent application of standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Act as a Designated Operator in accordance with DIN VDE 0105‑100 (Anlagenbetreiber).
- Coordinate multidisciplinary offshore activities and logistics, ensuring clear interfaces between site teams, contractors, and Skyborn’s asset management team to support safe and efficient operations.
- Manage daily site operations, including operational procedures, interface coordination, wind farm production oversight, and operational readiness.
- Plan, monitor, and improve site execution, developing and maintaining site activity and contractor coordination plans, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide accurate site reporting and governance, delivering timely updates on progress, risks, incidents, and performance metrics, while maintaining complete, structured, and compliant site documentation.
- Performance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Establish KPIs, provide consolidated reporting to senior leadership and other stakeholders, drive continuous improvement through best practices and lessons learned.
- University degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- 5-7+ years’ experience in offshore wind farm operations or a similar site‑based role within O&M of complex technical assets
- Strong background in Operations & Maintenance, ideally within offshore wind or the renewable energy sector
- Proven ability to coordinate complex site activities in a structured, disciplined, and safety‑critical environment
- Clear and confident communication skills in multicultural and offshore settings, with very good written and spoken English and German
- Ability to prioritise and maintain oversight in fast‑paced operational environments
- Willingness to travel and work offshore, with solid MS Office proficiency (Senvion turbine experience an advantage)
