European System Technician (m/f/d) Location: Remote (located near a major international airport)

For our client, an international company specializing in laboratory automation solutions we are looking for a
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of laboratory automation systems based on schematics, drawings
- and procedures
- Configure and prepare robotic systems according to customer installation specifications
- Install, commission and calibrate automation platforms at customer sites across Europe
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues (AC/DC) during build and installation
- Execute quality checks and ensure compliance with internal standards and safety protocols
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of support cases, activities and resolutions
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Support)
- Support customers on-site with professional and solution-oriented communication
- Participate in training programs, including initial training in the United States
- Electrical and mechanical experience (e.g. electromechanics, mechatronics, automation technology or similar)
- Technical education (apprenticeship, HTL, vocational training or comparable qualification)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and standards
- First experience in automation, robotics or laboratory equipment is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level); German is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and right to travel to UK, EU and U.S.
- Willing to travel for extended periods of time 2-3 weeks internationally,and occasionally to the United States
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Capable of lifting things up to 25kg
