Your responsibilities are:

Independently and autonomously managing the financial accounting of various companies
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IAS/IFRS guidelines and HGB
Acting as the central contact, providing professional advice and support to the companies
Further developing existing processes and procedures, e.g. SAP FI/FI-AA module, as well as providing professional support and acceptance testing during release changes, interface integrations, or company migrations
Acting as the central contact for auditors as well as the group accounting and tax departments
Formally forwarding financial and tax data to recipients within and outside the Lufthansa Group
Taking on additional cross-team special tasks and participating in projects, e.g. in the SAP CO module

Completed (technical) university studies in economics or (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
Experience in the areas of payment, financial accounting, and bookkeeping, ideally with an IT background
Experience in project management, especially in agile working methods (e.g. SAFe)
Structured working style
Know-how of current IT technologies and payment trends in the payment environment
Flexibility and willingness to innovate
Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
