As a Key Account Manager, reporting to our Key International Account Manager, you will play a vital role in growing our business and building strong partnerships with our customers in the Personal Care category.
You will collaborate with passionate experts across functions - from Marketing and R&D to Fragrance Development and Consumer Insights - to shape new opportunities and bring meaningful innovations to life.
Your mission and impact
In this exciting role, you will
- Drive growth by managing both top and bottom lines of the business.
- Build close customer relationships, creating trusted partnerships with client fragrance management, Marketing, R&D, and CMI teams.
- Lead and coordinate Personal Care Projects, working cross-functionally to both protect existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans to grow core and non-core categories in collaboration with your internal partners.
- Create and deliver inspiring trend presentations and events that spark new ideas and win new business.
- Coordinate key projects across Europe, ensuring effective communication and support across different regions.
- Identify and secure opportunities for Givaudan to participate in client briefs and achieve successful wins.
- Understand customer needs, ensuring timely and quality follow-up on submissions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (sales, profit, win rate, service level) to drive sustainable growth.
- Champion safety and compliance, following all Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines.
- Graduate degree or higher qualification.
- 2+ years of experience in the perfume industry within sales & development, or FMCG in a sales & marketing role - with an appeal for B2B and the world of fragrances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Proven project management experience managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Creative and global mindset, with a passion for sustainable and sensorial innovation.
- Enthusiastic about the Beauty Care category and emerging consumer trends.
- Strong ability to build trust across internal and external stakeholders to foster mutual growth.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify and develop business opportunities.
- Resilient under pressure, with effective time and stress management.
- Ambitious to grow and develop within Givaudan.
- Excellent command of English, German and any additional language is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
