JOB PURPOSE

This role exists for someone with an affinity for our target group who will be leading brands from the Personal Care business in Germany and act as a key market for Europe with lots of passion and drive. You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters - for people and the planet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own full P&L and 6P strategy for Skin Cleansing Dove & DMC in Germany
  • Lead end-to-end agile project management to drive Dove’s & DMC’s agenda forward in GE.
  • Manage stakeholders across GE, European, and Global Marketing teams; act as primary contact for BG and EU BU.
  • Shape innovation roadmap and tailor innovations for GE, including advertising strategy, variant definition, and media planning.
  • Develop and execute Brand Marketing Plan aligned with category growth drivers and Brand Strategic Plan.
  • Oversee ATL, BTL, media, and promotional activities, including digital campaigns and integrated brand activations (IBC, artwork, advertising).
  • Lead and build high-performing teams, including internal, cross-functional, and external agency partners.
  • Own local S&OP process, manage innovation funnel (Innoflex), New Product development and launches, and portfolio management across GE.
  • Drive budget planning and management, trade story development with Customer Strategy & Planning and Customer Business Development teams, and ensure strong collaboration with Finance, R&D, Legal, and Shopper Marketing.
  • Represent Dove as a key market globally, actively contributing to the global Dove community and leading category initiatives in GE.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Economics
  • Min. 3 years of marketing experience in the GE market, ideally in Personal Care.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks with a structured and prioritized approach.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • In-depth consumer knowledge and insights.
  • High resilience and flexibility in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Creativity in consumer communication and problem-solving.
  • Strong influencing skills and organizational awareness across networks.
