Your Tasks
  • Shape and enhance our simulation environment in Python by: Designing mathematical models and integrating them into our core tools
  • Developing, testing, and verifying algorithms (tools of interest: openPlume, openAtoX, openContam)
  • Training internal and external users to master these tools
  • Explore and integrate new approaches such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-based methods to accelerate and enhance our simulation workflows and user support
  • Apply your models to real OHB space projects, in areas such as: Space environment analysis (contamination, venting, Atomic Oxygen)
  • Propulsion plume simulations (chemical and electric)
  • Communication of results to internal and external clients
  • Publication of significant work in conferences
Your Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in applied mathematics, physics, aerospace engineering, or a related field
  • Strong scientific programming skills (Python preferred)
  • Knowledge of meshing or visualization tools (e.g., Salome, gmsh, ParaView) is a plus
  • Analytical mindset, adaptability, and problem-solving drive
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
