The Regional Sales Specialist for Filtration Hardware (HW) will drive sales and technical engagement for the Filtration HW portfolio, creating synergies with the RFM business though the connection with Filtration modality. This position will report into the relative DSHW regional team.

What you will do:

  • Develop the sales of modality solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long lasting technical customer relationships. Responsible for contributing information to sales strategies and account plans, as part of the core account team.
  • Primarily focus on Filtration HW portfolio opportunities-including TFF, virus filtration, virus inactivation, sterile filtration, depth filtration, and bulk fill-within the assigned region, supporting all DSHW products by providing product expertise to Account Managers during the sales process and independently identifying new opportunities.
  • Develop a strong strategy on PD labs for benchtop filtration systems with a complete approach leading to position also consumables in early stages
  • Proactively find and nurture opportunities for filter integrity testing solutions Proactively develop opportunities leading to design a full solution for Filtration including consumables (TFF consumables, pre filters…)
  • Provide high level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes and promotional events.
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.

Who you are:

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
  • 3 years or more commercial/applications experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
  • Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
  • Product knowledge for Downstream Filtration processes related equipment and solutions
  • English language fluent in speaking, reading and writing

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment

Requirements
  • Ability to travel - 40-50% of time, overnight staying, within the region
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Sales techniques and prospecting capabilities.
  • Experience with complex project management
  • Insight with networks and contacts
