Your Tasks

Developing models of the electrical characteristics of generation units in order to comply with (inter-) national grid codes and guidelines
Validation and evaluation of wind turbine simulation models
Preparation of the external model validation within the certification process of the electrical properties
Support of the simulation models to internal and external stakeholder
Preparation and review of technical documents
Automatisation of validation and verification tasks
Participation in or support of (inter-) national committees in modeling and validation procedures

Your Qualifications

Master's or Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in power, control, or automation engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the grid integration of generation plants
Know-how of power engineering, control engineering or power electronics
Experience with RMS or EMT modelling in at least one simulation software like PSCAD or DigSilent Powerfactory
Knowledge of Matlab, Python as well as any other simulation software like PSS/E, EMTP-RV and EMTP-ATP is appreciated
Experience in the development of frequency domain simulation models (harmonic models) will be an added advantage
Good written and spoken German and English
