About the Role :

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a specific focus on HRSD. You will work closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver efficient, scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Scania is also preparing ServiceNow for the next phase of digital evolution, including AI-driven enhancements and increased automation. You will play a vital role in enabling and supporting these initiatives while modernizing the HR landscape .

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and configure ServiceNow applications within the HRSD module
Work hands-on in ServiceNow HRSD - actively building, scripting, configuring, and optimizing the platform
Build and maintain Knowledge Management structures and best practices
Create and optimize reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making
Write high-quality scripts to automate workflows and enhance user experience
Communicate progress clearly, ensuring stakeholders understand status, decisions, and next steps
Explain solutions and technical concepts in a clear and accessible way to both technical and non-technical audiences
Communicate effectively across different organizational levels, from team members to senior stakeholders
Contribute to preparing the platform for AI and automation features, ensuring readiness for future enhancements
Stay continuously up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices, and proactively apply new learnings
Collaborate with product owners, HR specialists, architects, and team members to deliver value through continuous improvements
Ensure solution quality, proper documentation, and adherence to development standards
Troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and act as a proactive problem solver

Your Profile

Solid experience working with ServiceNow HRSD
Very good knowledge of Knowledge Management, including content structure and best practices
Very good skills in ServiceNow reporting and Performance Analytics
Practical experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
Proven ability to work hands-on in ServiceNow from design to implementation
Excellent communication skills - able to clearly articulate progress, challenges, and solutions, and explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way
An open and honest communication style that builds trust and transparency
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A structured, solution-oriented approach and a passion for continuous improvement
Curiosity and interest in AI, automation, and emerging ServiceNow capabilities
