Your future tasks:
- Define and implement global category strategies in alignment with project requirements and corporate procurement goals
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned categories (e.g., foundations, WTGs, cables, installation, etc.)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with project procurement teams to ensure timely and compliant procurement execution
- Monitor category performance, cost drivers, and innovation trends to continuously optimise value delivery
- Maintain category roadmaps, supplier databases, and strategic sourcing plans
- Lead or support RfI/RfQ processes and negotiations in collaboration with procurement managers and legal
- Contribute to contract development, including commercial terms and risk allocation tailored to the category
- Track and report on supplier performance, market dynamics, and procurement KPI
- Develop category-specific guidelines, templates, and lessons learned documentation
- Participate in cross-project alignment and standardisation efforts within the procurement function
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement - preferably in offshore wind, energy, or heavy infrastructure industries
- Experience working with international supply chains and managing high-value categories
- In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier relationship management
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience in tendering and negotiation
- Familiarity with category-specific technical requirements and market dynamics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across functions and geographies
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
