Are you a proactive and customer-focused housing professional? A West London-based housing association is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver high-quality tenancy and property management across a mixed portfolio. This role starts on an interim 6-month basis, with potential to extend.

Key Duties:

Manage tenancies end-to-end, ensuring compliance and addressing any breaches
Handle lettings and renewals, including viewings, onboarding, and minimising voids
Support rent and income collection, taking early action to prevent arrears
Respond to resident enquiries, complaints, and casework from councillors/MPs
Conduct property visits, tenancy checks and investigate potential tenancy fraud
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and internal teams
Maintain accurate reporting, records, and compliance documentation

Requirements

Experience in tenancy or housing management, ideally within social housing or property management
Strong understanding of landlord/tenant law, housing legislation, and best practice
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with confidence handling sensitive issues
Ability to build strong resident relationships and support tenancy sustainment
Competent with IT systems and housing/property management software
