The UMG Technology Transfer Office offers an interesting, challenging, and collegial working environment that promotes the “transfer” of research results into medical applications for the benefit of patients and to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and/or prevention of diseases.

Your tasks

Familiarize yourself with research and research projects at UMG by meeting with researchers and students and systematically examining scientific papers and grant applications for their transfer potential.
Evaluate the commercial potential of research projects based on basic and clinical translational research, research results, and the molecular and clinical validation of a target molecule in comparison to other clinical programs and indications.
Good familiarity with market needs in UMG-relevant areas of the life sciences, from medical devices to pharmaceutical products.
Maintain working relationships with companies and investors, attend conferences, and read professional literature.

Your qualifications

Degree in natural sciences/biotechnology/medicine
MBA is an advantage, but not a requirement
Very good knowledge and confident use of common MS Office programs
Ability to work in a team, strong implementation skills, and good communication skills
At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of a life science product or marketing experience with life science products for a pharmaceutical or trading company
Very good written and spoken English and German skills
