Marketing Data Analyst (m/f/d)
As part of structuring and scaling our marketing organization at group level, we are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst. You will report directly to Marius, our Head of Marketing Acquisition & Growth, and serve as the operational backbone of the marketing team. Your mission: leverage data, tools, and processes to make our marketing more efficient, data-driven, and scalable.
Analysis & Measurement
- Build reports and dashboards in Power BI and Looker Studio to monitor marketing performance.
- Track funnel performance end-to-end and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and enforce best practices for tracking & tagging (e.g. UTM governance).
- Ensure a robust attribution model (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch).
- Support conversion optimization, tracking, and personalized front-end logic.
Data Strategy & Segmentation
- Consolidate relevant data from different systems and entities within the Group.
- Develop segmentation models (ICP, firmographic, behavioral, etc.).
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency.
Reporting
- Prepare regular reports for executive management and the board.
- Deliver actionable insights for budgeting, planning, and decision-making.
- Monitor key KPIs such as MQLs, CAC, pipeline, retention, ROI.
MarTech-Stack
- Manage and continuously improve our tool stack (HubSpot, Clearbit, Matomo, GA4, Webflow, SEO Surfer, etc.).
- Support CRM workflows and automation in close collaboration with Sales.
- Drive projects for tool integration and process automation.
- Take ownership of marketing tracking (Google Tag Manager, consent tools such as Axeptio).
AI & Innovation
- Experiment with AI and no-code tools to increase efficiency and optimize processes.
- Explore how AI can be applied for reporting, automation, and campaign optimization.
- Act as a thought partner in introducing AI-driven approaches within Marketing Operations.
- Degree in computer science, Business Informatics, Data Science or a comparable qualification - alternatively, relevant professional experience in a data engineering role applied to marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, Marketing Operations, Data Analytics.
- Knowledge of MarTech tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, Matomo, Tag Manager, consent tools).
- Experience in building dashboards & reports (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) and in funnel analysis, attribution & lead scoring.
- Solid skills in SQL, databases, and ETL processes.
- Ability to optimize processes & workflows and align them with marketing objectives.
- Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools and no-code experiments to improve processes and efficiency.
- Analytical and strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent English, German at B2 level.
