Operations Analyst
What to Expect:
As Tesla's Residential Energy business expands globally with products such as Powerwall and Wall Connector, we are looking for a proactive Sales Operations Analyst to connect strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the sales team and the primary point of contact for operational stakeholders. You will oversee the entire order pipeline, from booking through delivery to revenue recognition. Additionally, you will drive process improvements that enhance efficiency across sales, finance, and technical workflows. Beyond ensuring flawless execution of time-sensitive market-specific initiatives, you will streamline operations to support long-term growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of certified installer and distributor orders, including intake, backlog management, delivery, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure accuracy of data across core systems (SMP, Warp, AX, TMS, Collections) and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support billing escalations, account statement requests, and compliance with revenue recognition policies.
- Drive continuous improvement of sales operations processes and maintain a centralized SOP library for global stakeholders.
- Implement scalable solutions for recurring administrative workflows (e.g., order management, invoice reconciliation).
- Provide first-level training to Account Managers and partners on operational tools
- Independently resolve Tier 1 operational and technical issues (e.g., order status mismatches, system errors).
- Assist with special projects, data analysis, and ad hoc requests.
- Act as the point of reference for forecast management and product availability across markets. Partner with Supply Chain to translate demand forecasts into accurate inventory allocation.
- Test and validate updates to ERP, CRM, and other internal systems, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years in operations, sales support, or process improvement, ideally within the energy or technology sector.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, strong command of ERP/CRM systems (e.g., AX, Salesforce), and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to manage multi-market operations, navigate regional compliance, and communicate effectively across cultures.
- Track record of resolving urgent operational issues while implementing scalable, long-term solutions.
- Experience onboarding teams or partners on operational workflows and tools
- Data-driven approach to forecasting, demand planning, and process optimization.
