Test Design: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, automated test sequences, and test scripts for control systems
Software Testing: Perform functional and performance testing on control system software
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external software engineers as well as project managers
Issue Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective
Project Management: Take ownership of test projects, including time and cost planning
Documentation: Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation

Education: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Certification: Valid ISTQB Foundation Level certification as a minimum requirement
Experience: Proven track record in software testing or quality assurance, ideally with exposure to control or embedded systems
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, ASP.NET, Vue.js, Python, or JavaScript
Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and processes across all phases of the software lifecycle
Industry Insight: Familiarity with refrigeration systems or the HVAC industry is considered a plus
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork skills
Languages: Fluent English skills (C1/C2) and solid German proficiency (B2) for effective communication
