We are currently looking for a new member to join our team in Sarstedt:

Director Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

Tasks

Ensuring the availability of materials and services in line with the company's needs
Negotiating with suppliers and service providers with the aim of achieving the optimal combination of price, delivery reliability, and quality for Kelvion
Qualifying new suppliers and service providers
Long-term material planning and response to short-term demand and/or delivery failures
Optimization of internal processes with regard to material flow and freight
Management and further development of a team of approx. 30 people (4 direct reports) from the disciplines of purchasing, materials management, warehousing, and logistics
Reporting line to the VP Operations of the site and the VP Supply Chain EMEA

Requirements

University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, economics, logistics management, engineering, etc.)
At least five years of professional experience in a management position in the supply chain area in a manufacturing company
Proven track record of success in optimizing processes and delivery conditions
Determined approach to work and ability to deliver the desired results even under time pressure
Successful leadership and development of employees
Willingness to travel internationally and work with people from a wide range of cultures
Business fluent German and English language skills
