We have been developing, supporting, and internationalizing Lidl's digital business models for over ten years.
This includes the Lidl online shop and other digital services. We are already represented in over ten countries with our digital products and services. The international threads of Lidl's digital activities converge at our headquarters in Neckarsulm and our Digital Office in Berlin. And we're continuing to grow!

We are looking for a business expert for our Personalization team. The focus is on data-driven analysis and optimization of personalization initiatives in the e-commerce context, including the development of business cases, tracking concepts, and automated data pipelines. The goal is to enable data-based decisions in close collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and the business.

Your responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive data analysis, leveraging large datasets to generate actionable insights for personalization initiatives and improvements
  • Create and evaluate business cases for personalization initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to prepare data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with business to ensure personalization solutions align with core e-commerce KPIs and goals
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of product-related datasets within our data ecosystem, identifying areas for continual improvement
  • Define tracking requirements enabling the measurement of the personalization initiatives
  • Build, maintain and setup (automated) data pipelines for dashboards and reports to provide recommendations to stakeholders
Your profile
  • Analytical skills to draw conclusions from large datasets to create actionable insights and drive decisions
  • Proficiency in dashboard creation to monitor the success of our initiatives
  • Strategic mindset with a strong grasp of e-commerce KPIs
  • Experience with tools like Databricks, BigQuery and MongoDB, PySpark and SQL
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary agile team
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy in a digital context as well as previous experience in A/B testing design and results is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of data engineering and data science fundamentals and collaboration practices is a plus
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
