Lignopure is a startup creating innovative bio-based solutions for care products and material science applications. We are unleashing the full potential of lignin´s for high value products and pioneering in the use of this biopolymer for cosmetic applications. Our mission is to bring greener and sustainable alternatives to the market, which also provide high performance and functionality to the end products, being beneficial for our customers and for the planet alike!
Collaborating with the Management, your job is to boost global sales efforts. This involves:
- Achieve yearly sales targets by developing and maintaining business relations with customers
- Manage and expand the sales distribution network and onboard new distribution partners
- Monitor customer needs, market trends and industry developments to identify business opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning
- Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Formulation, R&D, and Customer Service to align sales initiatives and identify new opportunities
- Conduct frequent visits to customer / distributors (25-50% travel time)
- Develop expertise in Lignin ingredients and utilize understanding of raw materials, formulations, and industry trends, to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive revenue
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote offerings
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in cosmetics or skincare products
- Minimum 3 years experience as Sales Manager
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively within a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and industry trends is preferred
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English, fluency in French or Spanish is a plus
- Passion for fieldwork
- Residence in or near Hamburg
