We are looking for a Local Controller for the Controlling for our newly created Business Unit (Advanced Therapies Solutions) based in Freiburg (Sartorius CellGenix GmbH). In this new created role due to expansion, you will be responsible for the execution and development of controlling tasks to support the activities and growth of the company. The goal is to assure all tasks of regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation as well as being a strong business partner to site management.

This position is based in Freiburg and is available for full-time.

Grow with us - Your Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results
Implement the local budget and forecasts
Collaborate in with the local management team and act as a challenging sparring partner
Support global initiatives on an ad hoc basis as required and defined by the Business Unit
Present performance in local management meetings on a regular basis
Prepare standard business analyses for management
Further develop reporting processes in close collaboration with colleagues in other locations
Develop manufacturing controlling activities that suits the expansion plans of the site
Ensure quality control over financial reporting
Collaborate in risk management processes

What will convince us

You have a bachelor's degree in economics with a focus on controlling or equivalent
You have relevant professional experience in controlling
You have proven software skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SAP
Fluent in English and German
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You are a proactive, self-motivated personality with good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams
You enjoy working your way through complex topics and are outstandingly good at managing them
