About the role

In this position, you will lead dedicated automation projects within our EMEA Waferfabs (Hamburg and Manchester). For this, you work closely with relevant Stakeholders like our local Engineering and Waferfab Teams, IT or Business Excellence Program Managers.

What you will do

Lead the Scheduler project (software) for Manchester and Hamburg Fabs to streamline the wafer production flow
Lead dedicated Automation projects to reduce manual processes in our Waferfabs (e.g. mobile robots, transport Automation)
Support the Waferfabs team to develop Automation concepts and business cases
Contribute to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program
Identify further opportunities by (industry) benchmarking

What you will need

Master’s degree ideally in a technical field
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within Semiconductors
Direct experience with factory automation, factory dispatching systems and manufacturing execution systems preferred (IT affinity)
Team player with a strong drive to achieve success and a pronounced hands-on mentality
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to visit the Waferfabs (Hamburg and Manchester) and establish a good relationship with the local teams
Challenge the status quo and think out of the box mentality
Ability to find solutions for problems and hands-on mentality
Fluent in English and German
