The Global Business Group at Nova is looking for an EU Regional Director to support our business and drive its growth across Europe.

As the EU Regional Director, you will play a pivotal role in the European Operations team, contributing to the overall success of Nova. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the semiconductor industry and eager to make a meaningful impact by managing sales and service activities at customer sites and overseeing regional strategies.

In this role, you will work closely with the Sales and Service teams, as well as HQ Service Managers, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with Nova’s global objectives.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead Operations and Account Management at NOVA EU, keep track of market trends, secure strategic clients, and maintain profit margins.
  • You will manage a team of approximately 20 service and application experts, supporting their goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • You will maintain strong client relationships, address concerns strategically, and increase company visibility through tailored presentations and regular reviews.
  • You will report to the Territory President on client activities, create project proposals, and oversee the EU budget to ensure cost efficiency.
  • You will act as the link between the EU team and global management to align regional and global initiatives.
  • You bring extensive market knowledge, identify competitive opportunities, and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Requirements
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in a senior sales position within the semiconductor industry.
  • Your location is Dresden - this position requires your on-site presence.
  • You bring outstanding leadership qualities as well as top-level negotiation and communication skills.
  • You are capable of leading teams across various locations and successfully working in a multicultural environment.
  • You hold an engineering degree or equivalent qualification and are prepared to spend around 30% of your time on business travel.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential
