Senior Manager:in International Business Development (f/m/d)

DB International Operations, located in Berlin, acquires, initiates and manages rail operations and maintenance projects outside of Europe. We are looking for a transport and mobility enthusiast with an interest in developing international mobility projects to join our passionate business development team.

Join us as Senior Manager International Business Development (f/m/d) at DB International Operations located in Berlin at the earliest possible opportunity.
Your tasks:

• You develop and manage large business development projects from identification up to bid preparation at DB International Operations with the goal to manage and expand a global portfolio of railway operations and maintenance projects
• You develop business models and project structuring, especially in a consortium context
• You drive the identification, analysis, selection and development of projects and manage international sales activities
• Based on analysis, industry knowledge and your network, you drive strategic partnerships with industry players, including negotiation of agreements
• You represent DB International Operations worldwide in the railway industry (for example at fairs and exhibitions) and position our service portfolio and USPs in the market towards clients, stakeholders and business partners
• You continuously develop business development and sales through the trial and implementation of innovative processes and methods

• You have a university degree, preferably in engineering or business
• You have several years of international professional experience in the field of business development and sales of large scale projects
• You have a proven track record of success in strategic partnership building, stakeholder management and project acquisition
• Technical and commercial know-how and expertise in the field of mobility, transportation or infrastructure is something you either possess, or are eager to acquire and dive into in your new role
• You are strong in presentation, project management and negotiation
• You are driven and a great communicator
• Fluent English and German is a must, additional language skills are highly welcome
