Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
This position can be filled at various European Siemens Healthineers locations in Germany, Poland or Slovakia.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for ensuring that robust data privacy strategies of the departments you oversee are seamlessly integrated into their processes and solutions
- You identify areas of action regarding data privacy for the compliant operation of digital solutions and ensure the implementation of necessary measures. In doing so, you consider company policies, market, customer, and economic requirements
- You act as a point of contact for data privacy-related questions throughout the entire lifecycle of our solutions and services, from design, through development, operation, to decommissioning
- You coordinate necessary activities with the relevant department, for example, maintaining the data privacy register, handling data privacy incidents, analyzing data flows/accesses, evaluating suppliers, or communicating with our customers
- You work closely with corporate functions to develop company standards, best practices, and benchmarks
- You manage both data privacy risks and the introduction of data privacy evidence/certifications
- You coordinate the preparation for presentations of the respective applications to the works council

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a university degree in Business Administration, Business Law, or another comparable field
- You have many years of professional experience in the field of data privacy, particularly in the interpretation and implementation of data privacy requirements for digital solutions and services
- Do you already have very extensive, long-term professional experience and additional qualifications in this area, but no university degree? Then we also welcome your application
- You have very extensive knowledge in the implementation and maintenance of international standards/certifications (e.g. EuroPrise) and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU GDPR, China PIPL).
- You possess extensive professional experience in the IT environment and have acquired very profound knowledge in the design, development, and operation of company-wide IT solutions, enabling you to analyze data flows, data access, and data structures or engage in technical discussions on an equal footing.
- Ideally, you are familiar with ServiceNow and its setup and structure.
Your attributes and skills:
- You have business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional knowledge of German is an advantage
- You possess a diverse toolkit to analyze complex relationships and develop solutions in collaboration with international teams
- You always keep the long-term goals in mind when developing solutions, comprehensively weigh options against each other and ensure sustainable results
- You have excellent social skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness to develop and implement decisions across all professional disciplines and various hierarchical levels
- Your digital competencies in researching, analyzing, and preparing data and information support you in efficiently identifying and solving challenges
