Financial Accountant - Czech Republic (all genders)

Your Tasks

Responsibility for the financial accounting and closings of designated European Beiersdorf companies
Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS
Self-reliant analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statements
Contact for financial and tax auditors
Monitoring and reporting of VAT transactions and contact person for questions related to VAT
Pro-active development and standardization of accounting processes
Participation in international projects e.g. introduction of new software solutions to support the annual financial statements
Ensuring integration between the SAP modules FI, CO and SD
Responsibility for G/L account and cost center master data and account assignment details
Bank accounting
Posting wages, salaries and pension payments

Successfully completed professional education in business administration or a Bachelor's degree with focus on finance and accounting
3+ years professional experience in finance and accounting
Additional accounting certificates will be an asset
Good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
Safe handling of SAP R/3 (FI/CO) or S4 HANA and MS Office applications
Fluent in written and spoken English
Fluent in written and spoken Czech
Further European language skills such as Romanian or Hungarian are a plus
