Software tester / IT test manager (m/f/d)
Avision GmbH is an IT service provider specializing in software revival for application development and support. As an alternative to complete new implementations, which are often costly and risky, Avision modernizes companies’ legacy software in an efficient way. Our team currently comprises 130 employees - experts with more than 25 years of professional experience, but also young professionals with fresh ideas.
Your tasks- Defining the test strategy and selecting and adapting suitable test methods and tools
- Creation of test cases based on the existing requirements and design specifications
- Carrying out (automated) component and integration tests and documenting the test results
- Supporting, monitoring and controlling test progress in all test phases and creating reports on test progress
- Identifying errors and deviations, communicating these to our customers and planning appropriate measures
- Carrying out performance measurements and analyses
- Responsibility for the conception, implementation and evaluation of functional and technical software tests
- Successfully completed studies in (technical/business) computer science, mathematics, business administration or apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d)
- First practical experience in the above-mentioned field, including the use of test methods and tools
- Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL as well as basic knowledge of Linux
- Very good knowledge of German
- Good technical understanding and strong IT affinity
- The position can be performed 100% remotely throughout Germany.
